As the Manager of the Employment and Project Development Services Division of the Cornell Institu te of Business and Technology, I welcome you in what is developing into a very exciting time, with the development of an Employment Assistance program and Project Development Services capability for Cornell Institute in New Zealand.
Our goal and objective of the Employment and Project Development Services is to get students ready for the workforce and establish a strong and well respected reputation and foot-hold in the Business and Information Technology Industry.
Cornell Institute of Business and Technology works with several international and local businesses. This partnership program has given us the lead and directions on the skills/ qualifications and knowledge to keep up with business and technology advancements and ensures that we are providing students with the up-to-date education and direction that employers in the industry are actually interested in and are looking for in their prospective employees.
We prepare students for the world of the 21 st century in high quality educational training programs that ensure that our students obtain the skills and technical knowledge necessary to keep them ahead in today’s employment market.
I draw much of my skills and expertise from working with two government departments over a total of 16 years and within educational institutions for the past 6 years in differing senior management capacities.
During this time, I have developed a vast network with employers small to heavy weight and have proven this capability time and again by maintaining a 95% success rate in qualified student employment placement, with the aim to continue my success rate for Cornell Institute of Business and Technology.
