Cornell and Charles Sturt University are working together to ensure students have additional options available to them when undertaking study at Cornell.
This arrangement allows for a number of pathways which will provide students with the opportunity to progress directly into the third year of a Charles Sturt University BachelorDegree program.
As Vice-Chancellor of Charles Sturt University, the largest regional university and largest provider of distance education in Australia, I am delighted to offer our degree programs in New Zealand through a partnership with Cornell Institute of Business and Technology.

Having studied at university in New Zealand myself, I know that that the education system in this country is renowned for its high standards. Our partnership with Cornell now allows students in New Zealand the additional opportunity to undertake what I believe to be amongst the best of Australian university degrees.

In an era when increasing numbers of international students are choosing and enjoying the benefits of an Australian university education, it becomes more and more important to select a university which offers courses relevant to both current and future employment in an international arena.

Charles Sturt University’s collaborative approach to education, through industry partnerships, community interaction and international involvement, ensures our students graduate with the right combination of theory and practice to be competitive in a global employment market. Our success in this regard has been confirmed by a number of independent surveys which rate Charles Sturt University as one of the leading universities for graduate employment. In fact the 2005 Good Universities Guide recently awarded Charles Sturt University five stars for both graduate employment and graduate salaries.

We wish you every success with your studies at Cornell and look forward to the opportunity of welcoming you as a student at Charles Sturt University. Professor Ian Goulter
